This is a book about Melanija Knavs, today Melania Trump, an unauthorized or unofficial biography about the shy and skinny girl from Slovenia, a country most Americans think to be part of Russia, if they’ve ever heard of it at all. Even if they have heard of it, they surely haven’t heard of Sevnica, the small town Melanija calls – or at least called – home. Nonetheless, this Slovenian, this Sevnica native, can become First Lady as wife to the, at least on paper, most powerful politician in the world – the President of the United States of America. 

Her story is full of coincidences and aligned stars, the product of a web of incredible, even spectacularly fantastic circumstances. 
Melanija Knavs comes from a completely average socialist Slovenian family, born and raised in the former Yugoslavia under the dictator Josip Broz Tito. Her parents were not part of the Slovenian society elite, though her father Viktor Knavs was a member of the communist party. They weren’t rich, but they weren’t poor either. Melanija was never the brightest student and she never studied at Oxford, Sorbonne, or Harvard; she was never a supermodel, even less a top athlete, recognized scientist, or extremely successful businesswoman; nonetheless, today, right before her 46th birthday, she is by far the richest Slovenian of all time. 

Melania Trump truthfully didn’t actually have a career, but her story reads as if scripted in a Hollywood success story: a true American fairytale. 
We know a lot about Donald Trump, practically everything. On the other hand, not just Americans, but even Slovenians hardly know anything about Melania Trump. But when you read this book, you will learn almost everything about her.

1. What inspired you to write the book?

My work as a life coach is primarily with women, and I know that women can be really tough on themselves. I wanted to write a book that would inspire women and make them realize how powerful they are. I wanted to give them ideas about happiness and joy that they may not have thought about before.

2. When did you realise that you want to write a book?

When I realized that I had knowledge, wisdom and compassion to share. I knew that I had helped a lot of women over the years, and I wanted to share what I had learned with other women.

3. Who helped you in writing the book and please say about their contributions?

My editor, Gina Mazza, was incredible! Her editing helped me say what I wanted to say in a clear, helpful fashion.

4. How is your book going to inspire the readers?

Each day, I have written a message that women can relate to about their health and self care, and all the daily tasks we do as women. Then I include a Happy Action so that they will know how to use the message to make their lives easier and happier

5. If you are given the chance to change one thing in your book what would it be?

Actually, this is the 2nd edition, (revised and expanded) of Happy on Purpose Daily Messages of Empowerment and Joy for Women, so I have already made all the changes I wanted to make. I took out unnecessary repetition and tightened up my messages. I also made the cover happier

6. How do you find time to write and which part of the day is best for writing for you?

I like to allow one full day a week for writing, and that day is Monday. I find it easier to know when I can work. I also,jot thoughts and ideas down any time I think of them. Morning is always best for me to get anything done from exercising to writing.

7. Which books have inspired you the most, in the journey of writing this book?

Bird by Bird by Anne Lamott, On Writing by Stephen King, Writing Down the Bones by Natalie Goldberg, Women Who Run With the Wolves by Dr. Clarissa Pinkola Estes.

8. What is the best advice, you would give for writers who are trying to write a book?

Write as much as possible and as consistently as possible, and read good writing. Also, get a professional editor.

9. What are your hobbies?

My hobbies are reading, writing, and exercising. I do other activities but those are my top three.

10. What can we expect from you in the future?

Hopefully more writing to help women, and if I can settle down, a novel.

About the Author

Door-to-door salesman, copywriter, business journalist & assistant editor at The Economic Times; Shatrujeet Nath was all this before he took to writing fiction full-time. He debuted with The Karachi Deception in 2013, followed by The Guardians of the Halahala and The Conspiracy at Meru, the first two books in the Vikramaditya Veergatha series. About the book:

My Review

 The story spans across generations and mainly focuses on the pre-independence and post-independence days. The story talks about the hustle and bustle of life and particularly about a family who has a false ceiling. The mystery lies in the false ceiling but throughout the entire story the false ceiling remains a mystery to be unearthed.

I felt like the story is trying to keep the elements of the false ceiling a secret. The story shows the lives of horror and uncertainty during the Independence days and how tough is it to take decisions in those turbulent times. You will feel the heat as you go through the pages and how a life can turn upside down when you have no idea about what will happen next.

The things in the false ceilings unearth itself in the last part of the book, and then will you understand why it was kept hidden for decades.

I really had a great time reading the novel and had a glimpse of the days people must have faced during the Independence days.

My Review:

The storyline is gripping and will thrill you. Filled with twists and turns it has the elements of suspense, action and adventure. The pace of the story will keep you in the quest of what will happen next and which mystery is going to unfold itself. Trinity has to find out the real mystery behind the Island of Cats. Mystery surrounds the novel in every part and with each mystery solved there is one more to be solved that will again give rise to more mysteries.

The author's creativity in the writing the book keeps the story in a good pace and I am looking forward to read the sequel to this book and to unravel the mysteries that would follow.
