Vagabond

Vagabond
The rules of life don’t apply here.  Just because a vagabond comes with the tag “No strings attached.” He doesn’t have a rule; neither is interested in making one.

Life is more fun when you don’t have any rules and why should be there any rules for that matter. For when you are born, you didn’t have a guide book to lead in one way or the other.

Life never says what to do. It’s up to you to decide where to go and where not to. Instead it just gave you, the beautiful planet earth and the power to fulfil your destiny, in whatever field you choose to follow.

It’s your life, live it to the very best like a vagabond. NO RULES, NOTHING!!

Just follow your heart and it will lead you directly to your destiny.

A blank page

A blank page
Life is a series of events, happening one after the other and almost instantly. Even before you process the information and react, the moment has already passed. It is very cruel to those who waste it and never ever gives you the opportunity to reprocess the lost time.
Time is the most important asset and it always will be, no matter what is your excuse, it never cares and moves on, in its never ending journey. It goes with the saying, “What has been done, can’t be undone.” Off-course not, until we have the leverage of a time machine. It is all in a moment and the next second it vanishes, with a blink of an eye.

It’s like an idea that strikes you for a second and you dismiss it the other second. It might not have been a perfect fit at that instance. And when you have read the work you have completed, you find the puns; irony and all the figures of speech have perfectly matched to their corresponding words making a perfect sense.

But you know, it wasn’t at first you wanted to write a pun or something, it was just because you felt that it should be the correct attribute, for the events that follow in the passage.

Within moments, a blank page has finally found its meaning and purpose, to be a proof of your world class or a start-up that is going to be world class.
Who knows!!
Of what will happen next or after this moment

Time changes fast and it happens to be the only thing that permanent. Time is the really an asset!!

Book Review of Time of Death: Induction

Book Review of Time of Death: Induction

Life becomes a large cauldron, when your worst fears chase you for your life and even more worse when you don’t know from whom you are running from.
The story starts with a shriek “Code Brown in room 204”, which gives you an eerie feeling of what has happened and you have to dig in, to know what caused the panic and what will be the aftermath of it.

Lives of Jake and Emma change forever when the un-dead chase them, for their neighbours start eating each other and were next in queue to be eaten.
The story describes the petrified lives of the living and the ways they devise to be protected from the un-dead. It all started with a bite, and it spread like a wild fire in every direction. With the passage of time the un-dead hunt the living and in the process give rise to a whole new army of more un-dead, with ever increasing proportions.

Jake and Emma run for their lives in search of any living and find a group of people who were taking shelter in make shift houses, until they were again force to leave their houses when attacked by the infected zombies. And the story describes the ways they invent and devise to stay away from the zombies and to move far away from them.

I don’t want to be spoiler of what has happened in the story, but it is a must read book for all the zombie lovers.

My Review:

Well poised novel with a lot of drama and fear. There is always an eerie feeling with the characters in the novel of being attacked by some zombie and to get infected. Jake and Emma, the protagonist of the story were always on their feet since the outbreak of the infection. There was a bit of reconciliation towards the end and the fear that once grasped Jake and Emma was now ward-off and peace prevailed. The humming of the birds and the cries of the children were more of music than noises to our protagonists, after a long battle for survival.

I just had a feeling the ending is going to be like the stories that we heard when we were kids “Happily Ever After!”, but as everything seemed ok, the author, brought the infection again to the survivors and there was a twist, at the very end of the story.

It gives a bird’s I view, of the events, from the eyes of a woman (Emma) and it
captures the moments in the story that only a woman can understand.

I am very thankful to Shana Festa for considering me to review her novel.

Book Review of The Professional Freelancer

Book Review of
 The Professional Freelancer
Notes from the Author:

The Professional Freelance was not written in a traditional format. It was written from the protagonist’s point-of-view. He is talking directly to you; the reader

My Review

The protagonist of the story is quite vivid and exemplary, in putting forward his thoughts. And has his own way to depict and compare a situation.

He learns the lessons of life in the hard way and is unlucky for most half of the story. He gets a decent job, after shifting from one job to the other and ending a depression-era, until he loses his job and his pay checks again and to make matter worse he is ditched by his girlfriend.

He responds to the wrong classified ad, and lands himself in a dominatrix’s apartment, where he has to attend to Rose. And in the course of time, he lands himself in an old and dilapidated house, while trying to solve a case.

The sequels and prequels play their part in the story, and you have keep track of the events happening and have to connect with the past to know the future, else you have to do the vice-versa, for you may fall into zigzag roads created within the story.

The story is quite humorous and you will find yourself smiling, metaphorically to the description of the facts and figures, related to in the story.

It is an excellent book and very good indeed. I would like to read more books by the author, Rory Scherer.

I am very grateful to Rory Scherer for considering me to review his book.

The Last Infection (The Hand That Feeds)

Book Review of the book
The Last Infection (The Hand That Feeds)
“Run For your lives!!”
Will be the first logical statement that you can think of when you are being chased by weird hunters with the likes of zombies, half dead and the infected and it seems even more dreadful when they hunt you in packs.
The story starts with Jake and Alicen siblings running for their lives when they meet Chris, searching for food. They again run for their lives, when they meet other survivors Jenn, Sarah and others who have survived the last infection.
The situation gets worse when they have a limited supply of food, water, and fuel.
The group gets smaller and smaller with time as the infected attack many of the survivors and feed on them. All they have is a little hope that they might survive.
My Review
The storyline is terrific and as you read the novel you will be immersed in the story and you can feel that you are one of the characters, looking at the story as it unfolds itself from a distance. You can feel the horror, the sweat trickling down your face and the adrenalin rush with the sound of the blood pumping as the infected run after you. It’s just terrifying. I just loved the little girl “Alicen” and the beauty with which she holds her curiosity and her sweet words.

I am very thankful to Michael W. Garza for considering me to review his book. A must read book for the zombie lovers and I am looking forward for the sequel.
